Choeze Kuchen Rinpoche June Program (18-26 June 2011)
Choeze Kuchen Rinpoche will be conducting a series of Dharma talks, empowerment, pujas and retreats, as well as wealth vase blessing. Pujas include Guru Rinpoche puja and tsog offering and Zambhala puja. Retreats include Vajrasattva and Mani Retreats. The topic for the Dharma talk is Introduction to Mahamudra. There will also be a White Tara Empowerment and Phowa practice with Q&A.

Please consider making a donation to help these 150 monks at Choeze Thupten Dhargyeling Monastery in Qinghai. They are suffering extreme hardship as a result of the Yushu earthquake in Qinghai. The whole Monastery & Retreat Centre is 90% damaged. They are structurally unsafe for residing in and the monks currently lived in pitched tents in the surrounding premises. How painful our hearts feel when we see these photos of helpless and homeless monks!
The 2010 Yushu earthquake struck on April 14, 2010, and registered a magnitude of 6.9Mw
(USGS, EMSC) or 7.1Ms (CEA, CENC). It originated in Yushu, Qinghai, China, at 7:49 am
local time. The initial earthquake was preceded by a foreshock and followed by several
aftershocks, four above magnitude 5, including a M5.8 aftershock at a 4 km (2.5 mi) depth
on April 14.
